Chicken & Rice Recipe - Video Review Included!

We are having so much fun adding recipes to the ever growing Recipe Box. This week we were sent a recipe from Stephanie J. in Youngsville. This simple Chicken & Rice dish was a childhood favorite of hers and now she makes it for her family often. The recipe can be easily adjusted to suit any family. Watch the video below to find out if my family enjoyed the dish.   

Ingredients:

  • 1 10 1/2 ounce can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 soup can of milk
  • 2 6 1/2 ounce cans white or mixed boned chicken (*we used raw chicken and cooked it in the dish)
  • 2 cups cooked instant white rice (*we used regular rice and cooked it in a rice cooker)
  • Grated Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients, except cheese. Pour into 1 1/2 to 2 quart casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (or until chicken is cooked through). Add grated cheese and put back in the oven 10 minutes. Let stand a few minutes before serving. Serves 4. 

*You can easily add any vegetables to this dish. We added onions and zucchini which were cooked prior to adding in.
