Welcome to Macaroni Kid Lafayette! I truly believe we live in one of the most fantastic family-friendly areas in the South and am extremely happy to be the one to share it with all of you in one easy-to-use website and e-newsletter.

A little about me: This year marks 17 years of being a mother, and I have four wonderful kids aged 5, 12, 14, and 16. My hands are full but well blessed! Macaroni Kid is also a great resource for my family, as we love getting out and enjoying all that Lafayette has to offer. When we’re not exploring, you’ll find me cheering on the kids in their many activities. 

Macaroni Kid Lafayette is a free weekly newsletter and website focused on fun family events and information in Acadiana. We gather together all kinds of local family events and activities each week and add useful information about classes, family-focused businesses, book and product reviews, recipes, crafts, school and camp guides, and more.
