Splash Pad at St. Julien Park, Broussard

Take the kids for an afternoon of free fun at the splash pad at St. Julien Park. The splash pad and playground provide hours of fun for young children. Pack a lunch, water, and sunscreen!

Splash Pad at Palmetto Island, Abbeville

Open Tuesday through Sunday (May through September)
Bring the whole family out to the splash pad at Palmetto Island State Park for a day of fun in the sun and water! There is also a playground, fishing and walking trails. Closed on Mondays for maintenance.
$3 per person

Interactive Water Adventure at Moncus Park, Lafayette
2901 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Our Lady of Lourdes 5,100 square foot interactive water feature is centered around a large alligator sculpture staring back at a pirogue play structure. The alligator has “breathing” water arches for its abdomen, and children in the pirogue are so frightened by the alligator stalking them that the boat is shaking, creating “waves” made with custom jets, even though this feature has no standing water. Throughout the large wet deck, another set of custom jets shoot up water that mimic bald cypress “knees.”
