Second Saturday ArtWalk
ArtWalk showcases the creative side of Downtown Lafayette’s cultural district. Museums, independent galleries, studios, craft stores and art houses of Downtown all participate in the monthly showcase of Acadiana’s artistic talent. Those who come will leave inspired as they explore the Downtown cultural district.
ArtWalk takes place every second Saturday of the month—rain or shine. There is no one organization responsible for planning the activities. Instead, each museum, gallery, or studio hosts their own unique event, featuring local artists and performers. Follow the official ArtWalk Lafayette Facebook Page to stay informed on monthly events.
Parc Markets: A New ArtWalk Addition
Downtown Lafayette Unlimited is proud to partner with Lafayette Arts & Fleas. These partnerships allow community members to support Acadiana’s local artists and creators in our public parks downtown.
Lafayette Arts & Fleas market can be found in Parc de Lafayette during ArtWalk from 5-8 pm and is a one-stop shop for locally made art, handcrafted goods, and curated vintage clothing. Booths include local makers, designers, artists, and collectors; all goods are handmade or vintage, with vendors ranging from hobbyists to professionals.
