Description
Get your baskets ready! Rip Van Winkle Gardens along with The Frosted Apron will be hosting their 1st annual Eggs-Treme Easter Celebration on Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2pm-4pm at the Bayless Center located on the grounds of Rip Van Winkle Gardens. Each participant will get to decorate two Easter themed Cupcakes, color their own Flower Pot, hear Easter stories from a local librarian, take pictures with the Easter Bunny, and take part in an Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn of the Joseph Jefferson mansion! Registration and prepayment are required as there is a limited number of spots available. A special prize will be awarded to whomever finds the Golden Egg. Participants will also have a chance to win a door prize. We will also have several vendors from the surrounding area with items/crafts available for purchase. All the activities will be held inside of the Bayless Center, except the Easter Egg Hunt, so if it should rain we will evenly pass the eggs out to the kids, and the Golden Egg along with the prize will become a door prize. Let's all hope for a beautiful day! Please have the participants bring their own Easter basket, and arrive 15-20 minutes before the start of the event to sign in and get wrist bands. Cost is $25 per child which needs to be paid in advance. Adults, really young and older siblings not wanting to participate do not have to pay to get in unless they are taking part in the activities themselves. You must register and prepay by messaging or calling Stacey at 337-201-1952 to reserve your spot/spots. NO walk ins, pets, or alcoholic beverages are allowed at this event. Payment is NONREFUNDABLE, so if for some reason you can't attend, you are welcome to find someone to take your spot/spots, but you must call Stacey at 337-201-1952 to change the names on the guest list or they will not be able to get into the event. We are so eggcited and hope you make this sweet event part of your family traditions each year with us! It's going to a fun day at the Gardens!🐰
