Join the Children’s Museum of Acadiana on September 28, 2024, in partnership with the Association of Children’s Museums and Nickelodeon, for Our World: Worldwide Day of Play!
From 10 AM to 1 PM, dive into a day filled with exciting indoor and outdoor activities, including a 64-foot inflatable obstacle course, slime and STEAM stations, the Bubble Bus, and meet-and-greets with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, among many other activities hosted by Parish Proud, Lafayette Ready Start, and Second Harvest Food Bank. Cool off with cold treats available for purchase from Sunset Slush Acadiana and explore our 12+ hands-on exhibits inside the museum.
Our World: Worldwide Day of Play is part of Nickelodeon‘s global Our World initiative, inspiring kids and providing them with tools to activate their individual and collective agency. As one of more than 300 ACM member children’s museums reaching millions of families in North America and among the 1,000+ museums participating in the Museums for All national access initiative, the Children’s Museum of Acadiana is a proud collaborator in this worldwide effort. #OurWorldPlays.
Admission: Tickets are $10 per person, but you can receive HALF OFF by donating a non-perishable item to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Pre-purchase tickets and use code “NOHUNGER” at checkout to pledge to bring an item per person, or purchase tickets at the gate and bring your donation.
