The Acadiana Po-Boy Festival is heading to West Village Development in Scott, LA! On Saturday, May 18th, Acadiana will celebrate the legacy of the humble poboy- a Louisiana staple, for the 7th Annual Acadiana Po-Boy Festival presented by The Apothecary Shoppe!
The Acadiana Po-Boy Festival will be held from 11a.m. to 5 p.m. at West Village Development in Scott, LA. This free-entry, family-friendly event will feature Acadiana’s Best Po-Boy samples from Laura's 2, Café Habana, Reggie's Soul Food, Jean Batiste Lunch House, Tchoup's Midcity Restaurant & Bar, Adopted Dog Brewery, Pop’s Poboys, Central Pizza & Bar, Koz's Restaurant, Bayou Teche Brewing, Exit 97, C'est Bon Manger, That’s Good Eating, Primal BBQ and Deuce's Taste of the South! Each poboy sample will range from $3-$5, so bring your appetite and get ready to vote for your favorite! The Best Po-Boy Vendors in Acadiana will surely deliver their best as they compete for the People’s Choice and Judges Choice Titles! While tasting these delicious sandwiches, participants will experience an amazing local music lineup from Pocket Chocolate, Kevin Naquin & Ossun Playboys and Ray Boudreaux! Fun for the whole family, the po-boy festival will feature local pop-up shops and kids activities and a po-boy eating contest that is free to enter! Mark your calendars!
