CYT provides three sessions of ten-week classes in drama, voice, dance, and specialty subjects during the fall, winter, and spring school years at three different locations. With small class sizes ensuring personalized attention, students ages 4 to 18 in Lafayette can choose between Act 1 (4:30-6:30) and Act 2 (6:15-8:15) classes on Tuesday nights, as well as Wednesday night classes. In Vermilion, classes meet on Monday nights, and in Central, they're on Thursday nights. Each session concludes with a showcase or parent observation night, showcasing the improved skills acquired in the chosen emphasis. Additionally, students aged 8 to 18 have the exciting opportunity to audition for one of three mainstage shows, involving extra rehearsal time and a separate production fee.
