Moncus Park is thrilled to announce the return of the much-anticipated annual event, Christmas in the Park, presented by First Horizon Bank. This year’s event is set to be more magical and memorable than ever before! The community is invited to mark their calendars for a spectacular three-night holiday fes􀆟val on December 15th, 16th, and 17th.

A Festive Wonderland Awaits:

Step into a festive wonderland at Moncus Park's Christmas in the Park, where family fun and holiday spirit fill the air! This charming holiday event promises an array of delightful attractions including:

• Mobile Hot Chocolate Stations: Warm your hearts, bellies, and hands with steaming cups of rich, creamy hot chocolate, presented by Roots Pediatric Dentistry.

• Santa Photos: Don't miss the chance to capture the magic of the season with a memorable photo with Santa, brought to you by Whataburger.

• Santa's Workshop for Children: A wonderland for our little guests, featuring Letters to Santa, the enchanting Bubble Bus Acadiana, Face Pain􀆟ng by Dip and Dabble, and a variety of sweet treats. A perfect place for children to immerse themselves in the magic of Christmas!

• Hayrides: Embark on a delightful hayride around the park, courtesy of Service Chevrolet Cadillac. It's a charming way to see the sights and sounds of Christmas in the Park!

• S'mores Stations: Indulge in the sweet, toasty treat with your family at the S’mores Sta􀆟on, presented by Rader.

• Food Trucks – Indulge in festive flavors at Christmas in the Park with our lineup of food trucks! Enjoy the diverse offerings of Nina Creole, Beignet Box, Gaspard's Cajun Catering, The Louisiana Bean, Kitchen Kingz, C'est Bon Manger, Morvant’s on the Go, Sweet Magnolia, Pancake Haus, Funnel Factory, and Exquisite Gourmet Cotton Candy. 

• Nightly Entertainment at the First Horizon Amphitheater: Join us each evening for a spectacular showcase under the stars! The amphitheater will be a hub of holiday cheer, featuring vibrant performances that honor Acadiana's rich culture on Friday, December 15, and Saturday, December 16, followed by a magical movie experience featuring holiday favorite “The Polar Express” on Sunday, December 17.
• Free Parking with a Shutle at Blackham Coliseum: Enjoy convenient, free parking at Blackham Coliseum, complete with a quick shuttle service to whisk you away to the fes􀆟vi􀆟es, courtesy of Service Chevrolet Cadillac!

The nonprofit park conservancy is solely responsible for the operations and maintenance of 100 acres of greenspace in the heart of Acadiana, with its annual opera􀆟ng budget primarily derived from fundraising and self-generated activities. This unique nonprofit park conservancy model, the first of its kind in Acadiana, is a growing trend nationwide.
