Hosting the Gold Daisy School contest is always a highlight of our year at Macaroni Kid. Due to COVID 19 we were not able to host the contest in May as we had the past four years, so we adjusted and this is our third year hosting it in November. We have once again partnered with the amazing Tropical Smoothie Cafe which will bring a fully catered lunch to the school with the most votes. We truly feel as though moving the contest to November is very fitting. This is the month to really highlight what we are thankful for and great schools with amazing educators are at the top of our lists.
Show your child's school how appreciative you are of their hard work by casting a vote. The school with the most votes will win a fully catered lunch and a plaque to forever showcase their Gold Daisy School status from Bayouland Trophies.
Simply cast your vote by clicking here for your favorite school. Be sure to share this article, the voting link, or any social mentions with friends, classmates parents, the PTO, you name it anyone can vote. We will keep you up to date on who is in the lead. Voting will stay live until November 28th. We will then announce the winning school and organize the fully catered lunch with them. Thank you for voting and be sure to share!
Contest rules: You may vote once per email address during the contest period ending November 28th, 2022. A valid email address is required. Ballots with votes for more than one school or with fake email addresses will be deleted. You must be a Macaroni Kid Lafayette subscriber to vote; you will be added to our subscriber list if you are not already. Don't worry, you will enjoy our extremely resourceful newsletter that highlights all the kid and family-friendly events in Lafayette Parish. If your school is not listed, use the "other" field to write it in. Preschools/Daycares are not being considered in this contest; private schools are (just write them in). Schools must be within Lafayette Parish.
