Professional story artist Kody Chamberlain is offering ongoing DRAWING and STORY ART classes here in Acadiana. Classes are tailored to individual creative goals as much as possible, and there’s also a strong focus on networking, pitching, and getting paid for your work. There are no contracts, and you can cancel anytime.

DRAWING & CARTOONING — (ages 10 and up) Primarily an ART class with a focus on ideas, tools, and techniques. You’ll learn drawing, cartooning, illustration, character design, and production techniques to create professional results.

# The Art Of Story
THE ART OF STORY — (ages 10 and up) A convergence of STORY and ART for comic books, manga, graphic novels, children’s books, storyboarding, and more. Lessons will center around writing, characterization, sequential art, and will have a strong focus on pitching and bringing your projects to market.
$150 (per month)

Kody Chamberlain is a full-time writer, comic book artist, and story artist with over 25 years of experience. Published comics work includes Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, HarperCollins, and Image Comics, and his original work has been optioned for development by Universal, MTV, and FOX. Kody has also worked extensively as a concept and story artist for Sony, WarnerBros, MTV, Funny or Die, Syfy, and NBCUniversal. Highlights include Shang-Chi, Deadpool, HALO, Watchmen, 30 Days of Night, McBain (with Trace Adkins), and NBCUniversal’s coverage of The 91st Academy Awards.
