Where you lay your head at the end of a long day in Orlando, Florida, can make or break your trip. Whether you are visiting parks, attending a conference, or enjoying the many other attractions offered in "The City Beautiful," Meliá Orlando Celebration is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and recharge.
I had the pleasure of doing just that from September 22nd through the 25th and wanted to share my top five reasons why your family should stay at the Meliá Orlando Celebration.

Reason One: Whether your family consists of two or seven members, Meliá Orlando Celebration can accommodate everyone. The spacious and comfortable suites come with fully equipped kitchenettes and living space.
I had the pleasure of staying in a one-room suite, but was able to tour a two-bedroom suite and it was beautiful. The two-bedroom suites include large bunk beds and a king-size master bed, but the fact that there are TWO bathrooms is amazing!
For my family of six, eating out every meal for a week is just not feasible, but staying at the Meliá means we can cook our own meals and save leftovers easily.
Need fresh air? Relax on your balcony overlooking the 360-degree vanishing edge pool with beach-style entry. You could even watch the kids playing in the pool from your balcony (depending on their ages of course).

Reason Two: Food — do I need to say more? PHENOMENAL is the best adjective I can use, honestly. The Meliá Orlando Celebration just opened a brand new trendy, high-end restaurant, The Wilson. They take a “where the coast meets the curb” menu approach. Featuring fresh seasoned ingredients from local farms and purveyors that highlight modern interpretations of new American classics.
The breakfast and brunch menus were not only beyond delicious, but beautiful too. The hearty selections offer that metabolism boost one needs before heading out for the day at a local park. During my stay, I was able to try a wide variety of foods, and none of them disappointed me. For all you foodies, check out my Facebook post that included a ton of pictures of the amazing food.

Reason Three: The entertainment is plentiful! Disney World, Universal Studios, Icon Park, and Sea World are less than 20 minutes away and the hotel will give you a free ride to any of them.
It's the in-house entertainment though, that I want to boast about. The hotel itself provides an amazing pool, a beach volleyball court, ping-pong tables, a soccer field, and a relaxing garden area, all which can be enjoyed at your leisure.
Fast-forward to the weekend and the entertainment goes next level. Theme parties are very common. During my stay, I was able to participate in a full-on 80's day. While relaxing by the pool during the day I was entertained by break-dancers, stilt artists, and a DJ. At night tons of glow supplies were passed out and a live band rocked us out to 80's music. There was a Knight Rider car in the lobby and the energy overall was fierce. Having a good time was easily accomplished.

Reason Four: The Meliá Orlando Celebration is a pet-friendly, dog-friendly hotel with a dog park to accommodate pet owners while on vacation. How cool is that? There are not too many hotels that offer this, let alone encourage it.
It was fun to be on the property and chat with other dog owners and love on their fur babies. It can be expensive and hard on a dog to leave them in a doggie daycare while the family is on vacation. This way you can bring them along! I also noticed dog treats in the vending machines on each floor and The Wilson (on-property restaurant) has an exclusive Dog Menu, too.

Reason Five: The pandemic made us all look at what we really consider "clean" and Meliá Hotel & Resorts stepped up its game to be sure that it fits this new criterion perfectly.
We can all be at ease knowing that Surfacide UV Light disinfection robot technology cleans all guest rooms and public areas. In fact, Meliá Orlando Celebration is the first U.S. hotel to have it!
I was able to see this machine up close and personal and spoke with the employee who is trained to use it. He goes in and out of rooms all day long blasting germs and viruses with UV lights. In addition, the hotel offers wellness rooms that feature a sunrise simulator, vitamin C-infusing shower, and mood-enhancing aromatherapy to provide a holistic wellness experience from start to finish.
While I'm at it I should mention that the second floor of every building has a laundry room available for use 24/7. When I say, "They thought of everything!," I mean it.
