While there may be an admission fee to get into the Cajun Heartland State Fair ($5 for ages 6 & up), there are still plenty of FREE things to enjoy at the CAJUNDOME fairgrounds. Take a look at our list below and see how many things you can cross off at this year’s event May 26 through June 5!

- Head inside the big top tent for nightly performances from Circus Hollywood
- Cheer on Hamma Montana or Britney Squeals at the Racing Pigs
- Visit the animals at the Giraffic Menagerie and Petting Zoo
- Snag a selfie at an LUS photo spot
- Travel to prehistoric times at Dinosaur Adventures
- Rock the mic at the Future Headliners Karaoke Club, hosted by the Stage Karaoke Bar
- Dance to the Cupid Shuffle at CU FEST on Sunday, June 5 featuring CUPID, Koryn Hawthorne, Justin Champagne, and more
- Post & tag CHSF in your favorite photos on Facebook & Instagram
Not free, but early bird ride discounts are happening NOW through May 25. Get ride wristbands for $20 ($30 on the fairgrounds) and half price ride ticket sheets for $12.50 ($25 on the fairgrounds). Plus, take advantage of the MEGA PASS, 4 ride wristbands and 4 admission tickets that can be redeemed on the day of your choice for $95 ($120 on the fairgrounds).
