Free Outdoor Live Music Concerts This Spring

Downtown Alive!, Bach Lunch, St. Julien Jams, Rhythms on the River

March 12, 2020

Acadiana is a very unique and special place to raise a family. One of the things we find sets us apart is the amount of family fun activities our communities provide. And most of them are free! Spring is a wonderful time of the year when outdoor music concerts pop up at various locations. All with the hopes you will bring the family, relax, sing, dance, and pass a good time. This Friday (3/13) Bach Lunch, Downtown Alive!, and St. Julien Jams begin and on 3/26 you can Rhythms on the River to that mix. There is never a shortage of outdoor music fun! Below is the lineup for each event. Remember admission is free but concessions will be available for sale.

The lineup for the Spring 2020 of Downtown Alive! is out! The upcoming season of Lafayette’s beloved Friday night concert series is stacked with talented performers from across multiple genres—representing the best music that Acadiana and the Gulf South have to offer. The lineup includes national acts like Anders Osborne, Brother Dege, and Amythyst Kiah, alongside stellar Acadiana-born hitmakers like High Performance, Ray Boudreaux, Horace Trahan, and Bas Clas.

This season of Downtown Alive! is presented by Evangelaine Maid, Downtown Lafayette’s own bakery with a hundred year tradition of creating amazing bread products for the Acadiana area.
