Macaroni Kid and Osh Kosh B'gosh have partnered up this year to spread Holiday Cheer and boy did we have fun doing it! Our first order of business was to find an organization in need of brand new clothing and we did not have to look far. Locally we have Foster the Love Louisiana. They were created to provide support and resources for children and families involved in foster care in Louisiana. They keep a wonderful community closet full of clothing for all ages. This is available to foster families at any time. In addition they create first night bags which help those foster children on their first night in a new home. They contain essentials such as pajamas and toothbrushes among many other items. Many foster parents care for children whether they have the means to do so or not and helping provide the children with clothing and essentials can lift a tremendous burden off of them and allow them to focus on the children.
