JUNE 3RD, 2021 UPDATE:
This summer we rented a fun jump for an end-of-school-year party for the kids. Although we always manage to find fun it's been at a much slower pace than normal and the kids were really pulled through the wringer this year so we wanted to spoil them all just a little. We rented on the last day of school and once we were done with the awards ceremony the kids were ready to slide the afternoon away! The kids were ecstatic and had a blast taking turns and enjoying their last day of school with friends they may not see over the summer months. SUMMER 2019
Now let's talk about summer parties and the heat. We all love having a good time down here in South Louisiana but the heat can make those good times often dwindle. How do we combat that? Water-slide inflatable jump rentals is how!! Last week I threw my husband a 40th birthday party. And because 40 is not old and everyone we know has children we had to get a water slide and a snow cone machine. How else would we keep the kids entertained for hours? And you should know the slide was for the adults as well. My only regret is not getting video of my husband going down it, lol. The slide was delivered at 9:30 am and my 6 year old daughter jumped on right away. She did not come inside until 9:30 pm!! She managed to eat a couple times but went right back as soon as she could. The joy it brings is absolutely astounding to watch.
My husband truly is a big kid at heart and believe it or not he requested the snowball machine. It was extremely easy to use as we just placed a big cooler of ice under the table that held it. When one wanted a snowball you scooped the ice in to the machine and hit the button and caught the shredded ice. Easy peasy!
