By Mary H. Baudoin Marketing Director AOC Community Media June 6, 2019

AOC Community Media will hold a five-day animation camp designed to introduce techniques used by today’s animation industry artists on June 24-28 from 9 am to noon. Students ages 12-15 can register for this camp for $125 per student. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

“AOC’s mission is to build an informed and engaged community through media, technology and education. Our Animation Camp is an engaging hands-on opportunity for students to learn how to create and execute digital concepts in the world of animation, which is always evolving,” said Ed Bowie, Executive Director.

In this week-long camp, students will learn the fundamental skills and techniques for producing digital animated short films. Students will be guided through an exciting week of production and editing training designed to grow and develop their creative and technical skills with the use of Adobe programs, under the guidance of AOC production professionals.

To register for this camp, visit AOC’s website at  aocinc.org and select Youth Programs under Learn menu. For more information about summer camp registration, contact Christy Tracie, Education Coordinator, at ctracie@aocinc.org or (337) 232-4434 x 215.
