2018 Latin Music Festival - Free Family Fun!

By Luis H Mora ACLA’s Chairman October 4, 2018

ACLA, The Asociación Cultural Latino Acadiana, wants to invite you to the free 16th Latin Music Festival, that will be held at Parc International in Downtown Lafayette, on Saturday, October 6th, from 11 am till 10 pm.

Every year, the festival gets bigger and better. This time, the Festival is showcasing and has the participation of the Spanish Immersion Schools. There will be folkloric dancers, dancing lessons and children’s character parades.

The festival is working with the Children’s Museum, 9 different restaurants and is bringing musical bands from New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Houston as well as the 13-member local band Latin Pulse, arts and crafts by local artists, and many more activities that are family-oriented.

Our Margarita and Sangria (Latin Punch) are award-winning. We have talent competitions and many raffles of computers, bicycles and a television.

ACLA is a 501(c)(3) IRS approved charity, whose main effort is to preserve and promote the Spanish culture to the people of Acadiana and to promote a better understanding among cultures.
