Brian Broussard is a self-less person and is passionate about everything he does. This passion is why he was nominated. He is head of the fundraising board for Healing House. His life’s mission is to educate others about healthy living and having a more fulfilled life. Brian has been asked to be a motivational speaker at schools across Acadiana about healthy living, including Fatima. “Coach Brian” has two sons, and coaches them and others in various sports. Even with all of this, he owns his own business Fit Life, teaching others healthy living.
Brian is head of the fundraising board for Healing House; Hope for Grieving Children. Every year he puts on a fundraiser that lasts 8 weeks and involves multiple restaurants and martinis. Sounds like the perfect event for parents who need a night out, right? This helps fund Healing House and is currently the main funding in building a new house for the organization. This is an amazing organization to be a part of.
He is known to all as "Coach Brian’” and he has never met a stranger. His athletes love him and he teaches them the value of family and sportsmanship, not just winning. This of course goes home with him to his two sons and wife. Brian mainly focuses on healthy living. He wants everyone in Acadiana to live positive, healthy lifestyles. He starts motivating them at an early age, so hopefully they will carry this through their life. We want to thank Brian for everything he does and has done. He continuously goes above and beyond for the community and is very deserving of this award. The day we awarded him he was genuinely surprised and we couldn't have been happier to honor him.
