The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department has set the registration period for Youth Baseball and Softball. Registration throughout the Parish will begin on Saturday, February 17 and continue through to Sunday, March 4.
Baseball is offered by LRPD for children ages 5 to 14, based on their age as of August 31, 2018. Softball is offered for children ages 7 to 17 based on their age as of January 1, 2018.
Registration will take place for each of the seven Youth Associations in the Parish. Those Associations include: BPA (Brown Park Athletics), BYYA (Broussard/Youngsville Youth Association), CSA (Cajun Sports Association), CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc.), SATS (Scott Area Team Sports), SLYSI (Southwest Lafayette Youth Sports, Inc.), and SWA (Southwest Athletics).
