The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department’s Teener basketball season will begin in
March. The organizational meeting for this program will be held at Girard Park on
Monday, February 19 th at 6:00 pm.
Teener basketball is open to males and females in high school that are not participating in
high school basketball. Participants may either attend a high school in Lafayette Parish or
be a Lafayette Parish resident attending high school out of the parish. Also eligible are
Home School high school students in Lafayette parish that are not playing for a home
school basketball team. Participants may not be 19 by May 31,2018.
Anyone interested in registering a team should make plans to attend this meeting.
