January 25, 2018

We are proud to announce that Harvard University has
ranked LUS Fiber #1 in the nation for price savings. In their recently published study,
Community‐Owned Fiber Networks: Value Leaders in America, Harvard University examined
municipally and other community‐owned networks and determined that they are drivers of
competition and provide better service and prices. The study compared pricing of community‐
owned fiber networks with local competitors and concluded that LUS Fiber's broadband
Internet pricing provided customers with the greatest annual costs savings.

Terry Huval, Director of LUS Fiber stated, “Our customers and supporters are aware of the
positive impact LUS Fiber continues to have in Lafayette. This study brings nationwide
recognition of our dedication to providing our community the best services, at the best prices.
Being ranked #1 in the country for cost savings is a distinction that we at LUS Fiber are honored
to bring to Lafayette.”

“LUS Fiber continues to be a trailblazer in community broadband services. In fact, LUS Fiber will
be recognized as an Innovator at the NCTC 2018 Winter Educational Conference next month,”
said Mayor‐President Joel Robideaux.

The National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) 2018 Winter Educational Conference will
take place February 12‐13 in San Antonio, TX.
