The Lafayette Recreation and Parks Department has set the registration period for Youth Basketball. Registration throughout the Parish will begin on Saturday, November 4 and continue through to Sunday, November 19.
Basketball as offered by LRPD is for boys and girls. This program is for children ages 7 to 16, based on their age as of December 31, 2017.
Registration will take place at each of the seven Youth Associations in the Parish. Those Associations include: BPA (Brown Park Athletics), BYYA (Broussard/Youngsville Youth Association), CSA (Cajun Sports Association), CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc.), SATS (Scott Area Team Sports), SLYSI (Southwest Lafayette Youth Sports, Inc.), and SWA (Southwest Athletics).
