The start of the school year brings an added element of busy to our schedules. That's why all moms (and dads!) can use a few quick and easy but sure to please recipes for dinners at home or on the run. This recipe for Easy Cheesy Please Me Chicken fits all the criteria. The prep is minimal and using the slow cooker means that it's ready to eat when you are!

In your slow cooker add a package of boneless, skinless chicken breast tenders, a jar of salsa and a package of frozen corn, (if you want, add a can of black beans, drained and rinsed). Cover and set the slow cooker to low heat for 6 hours. During the 5th hour add a block of cream cheese and stir. Continue to stir on and off for the last hour. Serve the dish in and around taco shells or chips and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese!

The possibilities are endless really for this dish. You can serve it over rice or in lettuce to make wraps, alone as a heavy soup, in tortillas, etc. Some other fun garnishes include: avocado, diced tomatoes or chopped onions! It's also great the next day as a filling for quesadillas or nacho topping.
