Calling all artists, Van Eaton & Romero, A Latter & Blum Company presents Lafayette’s first Great Painted Pumpkin Festival! Join us in Downtown Lafayette near Park International on October 12, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. Everyone in your family can bring a painted pumpkin to be entered in our contest and the winners will be announced right before Movies In The Parc at 7 p.m.

This event is great for both adults and children to have fun testing their creative abilities while benefiting a variety of Acadiana area non-profits. A team of judges will select winners in a variety of categories.

Pumpkins should be painted or decorated in advance and registered via Eventbrite. For a single $5 fee, a family of 4 can participate. Registration will also be available on-site the day of the event for $10. Registration fees are collected by UpStage, Inc., a local not-for-profit. Registration fees are tax deductible.

The event, which coincides with Art Walk, will begin at 5:00 pm and end just prior to the 7:00 pm start of Movies in the Park at Parc International, when the winners will be announced.
