Montessori of Acadiana invites children ages 3–7 to a summer of curiosity, creativity, and discovery through our thoughtfully designed Montessori summer camp. Each week features a unique theme where children engage in hands-on projects, scientific investigation, outdoor exploration, and collaborative learning experiences guided by Montessori educators. Children will also enjoy visits from special guests who will bring additional learning experiences and demonstrations related to our weekly themes.
Children will build independence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills while exploring subjects such as space science, dinosaurs, wilderness survival, marine life, engineering, art, and scientific discovery. Activities may include nature exploration, creative studio work, simple engineering challenges, observation and classification work, scientific experiments, and practical outdoor skills.
