Theater for Kids!! (Ages 4 to 18) Developing character.... one stage at a time!!
Christian Youth Theater (CYT) is an after-school theater arts training program for students ages 4-18. Since its founding in 1981, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater program in the nation, with Affiliates across the country training thousands of students a year. Each local program conducts three ten-week sessions (Fall, Winter, and Spring) teaching drama, voice, dance, and specialty theatrical workshops at weekly two-hour classes. Enrolled students have the opportunity to audition and perform (or work behind-the-scenes) in a Broadway-style musical performed for the community. CYT also offers summer camps for kids ages 4-18, where they will spend a week learning musical theater skills resulting in a showcase performance for family and friends! CYT stands in the forefront in its commitment to the highest ethical, moral, technical, and artistic standards of excellence. Instructors are professionals, qualified in teaching and/or performing, who understand our mission statement, values, objectives, and goals.

"Mom, it felt like home. It was amaaazing." <----my daughters description of her 1st day at Camp for Youth. Each day at pick-up she'd be beaming with delight! I was floored by the showcase featured at the end of the week at how great it was! Everyone was able to participate and it was beautiful! It moved me to tears to see my girl shine so brightly doing what she loves. Highly recommend to every child--boy or girl--who loves to sing, dance or perform! Amazing staff, down-to-earth vibe, extremely knowledgeable, very friendly/positive environment! Crossing our fingers that we'll be able to grab a spot for her in the Fall!
I had the chance to see Beauty and the Beast on 5/14/16. Let me just say that I was amazed at the talent that was on the stage! My kids and I had an awesome time! The sets were beautiful and the performers really know how to put on a show! I'll be going to the next production and many more after that! Great job!!!
