Week-long musical theater day camps, an overnight teen retreat and two week long summer stock shows are offered during the summer months for students ages 4-18. Camps are designed to create a hands-on theater experience, and are focused on building performance skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Typical camps include team competitions, rotations through drama, dance, music, and craft workshops, a daily theme-related devotional, and an impressive concluding showcase for family and friends. There’s no better place for kids to learn about theater and have fun than in CYT’s positive and encouraging atmosphere - and every camper gets the opportunity to perform on stage!
4-7 Year Old Camps:
Pet Pals
Dates: 7/08 - Monday-Friday

Details: Join the rescue dogs of Paw Patrol and Bluey & Bingo as we come together for this exciting week of camp! We will learn all about our pet pals while acting, singing, and dancing to our favorite scenes and songs! CYT campers will enjoy a fun-filled week of activities in music, dance, acting, visual art, and camp games! Our days generally look like: team building time, rotations of musical theatre classes (taught by the BEST teachers), snack time, art time, rehearsals/auditions for our end of the week showcase performance, lunch time, game time, and so much more! At the end of the week a special themed performance for friends and family will showcase all the fun we had!
Wishes
Dates: June 10th (Monday - Friday)

Details: If you only had three WISHES, what would you wish for? CYT campers will enjoy a fun filled week of activities in music, dance, acting, and visual art based on feature films like: Wish, Aladdin, Encanto, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Princess and the Frog and many more!
6-10 Year Old Camps:
Band Together
Dates: July 15th (Monday - Friday)

Details: It’s time to "band together” as we sing our favorite TROLLS hits! We will go on a new adventure every day by learning how Trolls act, sing, dance, and stick together no matter what. CYT campers will enjoy a fun filled week of activities in music, dance, acting, visual art, and camp games! Main Character Energy

Details: Who comes to mind when you hear “Main Character Energy”?! This camp is all about our campers getting the chance to play their favorite main characters! The performance will feature songs and scenes from movies and tv shows like: Wednesday, Barbie, Mario, Ninja Turtles, The Mandalorian and many more!
Peter Pan Jr - Summer Stock Show
Dates: Week of June 17th * June 28th (Monday - Friday)

Details: Based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years and is now adapted for young performers.
Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, the fierce Brave Girls, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.

Details: Get ready for POP camp! Our campers will have a blast learning and performing all of their favorite songs from the best COMIC MOVIES & POP CHART HITS! This camp will feature age-appropriate songs from artists & movies like: Taylor Swift, Batman, Harry Styles, Spiderman, Dua Lipa, Guardians of the Galaxy and so many more! Our students will also learn about Pop Art, how it has been used to create comic book designs, and how to create their own pop art projects!
13-18 Year Old Camps:
Little Shop of Horrors - Summer Stock Show
Dates: July 8th - 21st (Monday - Friday)

Details: A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop Of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!
Teen Retreat

Details: Join us for our third annual overnight teen retreat! Be prepared to meet new friends, compete in team games, participate in creative projects, learn from the best teachers/leaders, grow closer to Christ, and so much more. Stay in a hotel with your friends, hang out by the pool, listen to inspirational and upbeat speakers and then have fun nights of karaoke, dance parties and competitive games. This retreat is designed for our students to get to know each other better, be reminded of how much God loves them, and HAVE FUN without the pressure of rehearsals or putting on a performance. Teen Retreat is one of our favorite events to produce, and we can’t to see all of our teens and meet some new faces this summer!
