Time are tough right now and not one single person is immune from it all. This is especially true for our elderly population. They are very high risk of not only catching COVID-19 but having life threatening results from it. Therefore many of them are quarantining and feeling very lonely. Macaroni Kid has a special relationship with Maison De Lafayette as we visit the residents every year for our act of kindness day and recently the thought of the residents being incredibly lonely has weighed heavy on our hearts. So we began searching for a solution. Thus we decided to help residents and local families become pen pals which will ease the stress of constant boredom and connect different walks of life.
