Boo Bayou Fall Festival at Vermilionville

October 18, 2018

All roads lead to Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park this Saturday!

We're preparing for one of the most exciting events of the year in the area. This year's celebration will be bigger and better than before. We''ll have plenty to keep the kids busy including old-time games, face painting by Laura Westbrook, balloon animals by the Fun Company and magic by Mitch Richard. We'll also have a coloring station and trick-or-treating throughout our historic village. In fact, the kids will have an opportunity to display their creative abilities by decorating their very own trick-or-treat bags, on-site. No need to worry. We will provide the bags and supplies.

In our Cooking School, children can decorate their own monster gingerbread, as well as, crafting some other great Halloween treats! In the restaurant, La Cuisine de Maman, we have a Spooktacular Menu lined up - Spooooky Spaghetti and Monster Meatballs, Frankenstein Chicken Fingers, Monster Mac & Cheese and Creepy Corn on the Cob!
And, wait! What is Boo Bayou without costumes? Kids and adults alike are welcome to transform themselves into whomever they would like for the event. Make memories with your family and enjoy great photo opportunities at our Fall Photo Station (costumes are encouraged, not mandatory...but there might be an extra piece of candy in it for you!)

Admission is $5 for ages 2 and older. For more information, please visit www.Vermilionville.org or contact Director of Museum Operations, Brady McKellar, at Vville@BayouVermilionDistrict.org.
