The Woman’s Foundation here in Lafayette offers classes for children 11 years old and older for safe babysitting. These classes teach infant/child CPR, what to do in an emergency, how to prevent and manage injuries, how to set up a babysitting business, how to entertain children of different age groups, and so much more. These classes are great to give your child the confidence to stay home alone or babysit other children for money. Classes are starting in June. Pre-registration is required.
