December 2020

By Jennifer Ercoli - Publisher Macaroni Kid Lafayette November 30, 2020

December is the month for giving and receiving gifts and our favorites are the ones that come from the heart or create experiences your family will never forget. Let’s make this month not only the month of physical gifts, but the month of random acts of kindness. At this time, we need it more than ever and let’s work on paving the way to bring in the New Year with peace, love, and happiness.

December 3 - National Roof over Your Head Day

  • This holiday reminds us to be thankful for a very basic need that many of us take for granted, the roof over our heads. What a great start to the month of giving by finding a local homeless shelter and volunteer, contribute, or cook a meal. Contact a shelter - they will have countless ways you can help. December 5 - Bathtub Party Day

  • Grab your rubber duckie and treat yourself to a relaxing spa day in your own tub. Check out these crafty kids who make their own bath bombs. Great craft to do with the kids and a great way to have some fun in the tub. Everyone loves homemade gifts so this is a great opportunity to make a huge batch and wrap them up.
