Editor's Note - August 6

Welcome Back, Macaroni Parents!

Can we all take a moment to congratulate ourselves? We made it to the finish line! ๐ŸŽ‰

The first day of school is finally here, and whether you've been counting down the days or wishing summer could last just a little longer, this season always brings a mix of excitement and emotions.

Our house is especially busy this month. One of my kids heads back to school on Monday, two more start on Thursday, and then later this month, my oldest officially begins his freshman year at UL Lafayette. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that one. Somehow, the little boy who grew up tagging along on Macaroni Kid adventures is about to be a college student.

To all the parents sending kids off next week—whether it's preschool, kindergarten, middle school, high school, or college—I hope the year starts off with lots of smiles, great teachers, new friendships, and just a few happy tears (mostly from us parents).

This week's newsletter is full of family fun, local events, and resources to help you ease into the new school year. Wishing all of our Acadiana families a wonderful first week of school and an amazing year ahead!

Have a great week!
