—The Lafayette Police Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, will be conducting saturation patrols, along with sobriety checkpoints, for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Campaign. This campaign will be conducted from Friday August 19th thru Monday September 5th. Please remember never to get behind the wheel of a vehicle if you’re not sober. The life you save may be your own.
