StikBot Studios Review

November 19, 2015
This past weekend I had the pleasure of hosting a "Toy Time" themed party. Several toy companies sent us their newest developments to play with and then give you a review!

The Stikbot from Zing was a huge hit. In the pack were two Stikbots, one orange and one clear. In addition was a tripod to hold a phone. Stikbots are flexible in every way and have suction cups on their hands and feet. This allows the user to set them up in hundreds of different ways.

Once you have your Stikbots in hand you must download the StikBot app. This easy to use app allows the user to take pictures and it pieces them together in a video. After every shot you move the Stikbots and set them up again.

The simple idea is really amazing for young kids who are already so heavy into technology. It allows them to use their imaginations and play with technology at the same time. The app was easy to use and I can say this because I was able to use it! My 6 year old grasped the concept easily and could do it but the older kids really had the most fun with it. By this I mean 10 and older. Once they made their videos they shared them on social media. What a huge hit this is for them. If the video is shared with the hashtag #StikBot then users all over the world can see what they made.

StikBot is even hosting a contest where the best video can win $20,000!!! That is a nice chunk of change for college tuition. Check out more details at www.stikbot.com.

I should also add in that my 3 and 5 year old really wanted their own to play with. They do not make videos but they have their own pretend play all day long. At only $4.99 a piece who can argue with that!

I received complimentary products for the purpose of this review.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
