Febreze Air Purifier's are brand new to the market and they offer a lot of bang for the buck! Febreze sent me a unit to use for a while and review. First I should note that I am a severe allergy sufferer. I take medicine everyday to ward of attacks and they still happen despite that. I do not have pets in the home but currently we live in a construction zone (new neighborhood) and the dust is unreal.
According to Febreze the cleaning strength of the Febreze Air Purifier's dual action HEPA-Type filters traps up to 99% of airborne dust, pet dander and other allergens that pass through the filters. This I have to believe for 2 reasons. First I placed the unit on my bedside table which is beside a window that has dark blinds. I dusted to the blinds before placing it and to my surprise a week later they did not appear to be as dusty as they normally would have. Second as long as the unit is on and running I do not have sneezing fits or wake up stuffed up.
One of the benefits that sets the Febreze Air Purifier apart from others is the ability to freshen the air at the same time it is being cleaned. It comes with a scented bar you place inside. The smell is not strong at all but leaves the air smelling fresh and clean.
